The FAA maintains statistics on this https://www.transtats.bts.gov/OT_Delay/OT_DelayCause1.asp?20=E https://www.transtats.bts.gov/OT_Delay/OT_DelayCause1.asp?20... going back to 2003 and customers can (and do) also gather less-comprehensive information from their own experiences and stories they hear.
