Isn't the burden of proof on the social media side? There is certainly prima facie evidence that this is the case.
Since everyone seems to suddenly be massively skeptical of medications, as an example, I would ask if at the same time as a new prescription aimed at teenagers came out teenagers started breaking out in green spots, wouldn't most parents stop the medication and wait for some other cause to be shown as the source of the green spots?
In other words, who is right and wrong has less to do with this discussion than being super careful with kids until we're solid that it's not harmful.
