Daniel Defoe's 1705 Fantasy about Chinese Mapmakers on the Moon (2018) [pdf]
- devindotcom 5y agoInteresting. Found it here: https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/7089 https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/7089 I'm reminded of the fictional book quoted in Bierce's "Devil's Dictionary" entitled "The Lunarian Astonished" or the like, and I always thought it would be great to pursue the theme further. Defoe isn't Bierce but now I'm interested in his take as well.
