This line is funny
“They use Facebook to keep in touch with their networks, to find support, and to get ahead.”
Sounds like a line a cheesy Facebook PR person would say. Might be a truth to it, but I keep hearing a 1950s commercial for Facebook reading it.
- karmakaze 5y agoIf anything what I take away from this is that Facebook is the 'most social' of these social network apps. That's worth something more. Losing the others wouldn't matter as much in a real-world sense.
- mostertoaster 5y agoThat is an interesting point. As a privileged middle class person, I mostly use Facebook to argue. But I can see how it might actually be a good networking tool for those who need it for such.
