Ha, I thought Friendster was gonna be around forever! It's eye-opening that something so successful could be sunk by a combination of such mundane mistakes. For many years there was a Friendster graveyard of countless profiles no longer being updated. Half a decade after its demise, when it was a distant memory, I actually found a use for it! Someone wanted me to go on a blind date and I really wasn't excited about the idea, but they told me her name and when I found her profile on Friendster I reconsidered. :)
