My iPhone 13 Pro survived 26 hours at the bottom of a river
- thomasqbrady 5y agoTL;DR: iPhone 13 Pro fell out of my pocket while tubing down a river. Scuba diver recovered it 26 hours later, and it's in nearly perfect condition.
- sp332 5y agoI know someone whose iPhone 6 was lost in a snowbank for a month. Worked fine after the snow had melted enough to spot it.
- thomasqbrady 5y agoImpressive. Did the speakers go completely back to normal?
- sp332 5y agoI asked and they said it wasn't a particular issue. Hopefully they just have to dry out for you.
- SkipperCat 5y agoI think this is a real testament to factors of safety. In construction, you need something to hold 150 lbs, then it need to be designed to hold 1000 lbs. Prob the same for these penetration performance ratings. Anyway, this was a great read. Glad to see the phone survivied!
