A friend of mine worked for them several years ago and run away after a couple of years.If you are not Chinese, there is no chance of career improvement, and the Chinese leadership style is very different from the western style.
- muzani 5y agoIn much of Asia, loyalty is rewarded and promoted over merit. Often that loyalty is tested in some way. The easiest test is to treat someone terribly, e.g. long hours, abusive words, low pay, and see if they remain loyal. It's not necessarily about race, but many people unfamiliar with the culture may feel unfairly targeted or refuse to play this game.
