WordPress? Really? I can think of a thousand reasons not to use WordPress, such as horrible, outdated security practices, constant DDoSing of your site because of the aforementioned, having the overhead of jQuery, not wanting to use PHP because it's not your preferred language, not wanting to use old, outdated spaghetti WordPress code even if it were, etc...
