It's a platform with unique constraints and requirements. So before you start claiming that I've over engineered my site, keep in mind that the term "over engineered" is relative and you may not have the context to make that kind of judgement. I was extremely thoughtful about the architectural decisions I've made. Whatever tools or tech you're more familiar with that you think would be better suited for this site I'll bet you that I evaluated and decided it wouldn't work for my use cases.
