Why would China be in the interest to do this? The Chinese politburo would definitely not like a world war right now, they know that it will halt the flow of global trade and would also fuck them up immediately. Unless they are planning to mobilize their entire country towards war (which is not happening), I'm not seeing this happen in the near future. (Unless a major economic depression happens, leading to economic instability and unrest in both China and the US, which leads them into nationalism and military mobilization and eventually war... History repeats itself yada yada.)
