Thanks very much for the feedback!
On a simple black-and-white document, you can easily save 50% of the ink with barely noticeable changes. In processing photos, the focus is on the restoration and digitization of old documents and handwritten notes. We are still in beta, but we hope to get the word out and show people how they can save big on ink without compromising on print quality.
The application is also designed to simplify graphical document editing, for example restoring bad scans, something that students and researchers who frequently handle old documents would find useful.
- mgl 5y agoBrilliant! What is your story, how did you come up with this idea? How long did it take until now? Where are you based?
- pitz 5y agoThe idea came up around the time my partner started her Masters and needed to print documents that were in poor condition and would have been a complete waste of ink. It has become apparent that sometimes print preparation is necessary, and that it should be as intuitive for the user as possible. We're currently based in Tel Aviv.
