I'm always shocked seeing how little money an individual (private person or even politicians!) will require to be corrupted or do some awful, future hampering act. 30k$ for nuclear secrets? I've read O(100k) for corrupt high officials. That's not enough money to cover your future and retire on, but the consequences are that... you don't have a future anymore. I'd think people would need at least a couple millions?
