When Developers Resurrect Code They Wrote 40 Years Ago
- ggm 5y agoI have coded for 40+ years, but I have only dug out code from 20+ years back. I find it heart-achingly bad. Non-portable assumptions about stack alignment, dependencies on ints and shorts at fixed sizes, lack of understanding of integer overflow. I also found it alarmingly familiar.
