U.S. Navy Engineer Charged in Attempt to Sell Nuclear Submarine Secrets
- gigatexal 5y agoYikes. Absolutely terrible if true. I’m curious to know more About their circumstances but that doesn’t look good for them. Let’s see how the government does with its case and what the evidence says.
- throwawaysea 5y agoIt seems the US got lucky on this one, since another nation’s postal service (?) intercepted the initial package by chance, seemingly. I wonder how they prevent theft of such sensitive information more generally. This is just the one instance in which the suspects were caught.
- roseway4 5y agoThe initial interception is intriguing. Perhaps it suggests the target nation is a US ally? Terribly risky making overtures to a friendly nation. And for only $100K in crypto.
