Beating C and Java, Python becomes #1 most popular programming language – Tiobe
- PhilipVinc 5y agoI doubt that in any realistic metric C popularity can go down by 6% in only one year. It’s simply too big.
- Someone 5y agoAs about every month, just reading the table is enough to notice how bad this rating is. For example, if we believe this data, the popularity of “Classic Visual Basic” went from 0,77% a month ago to 1,83% now (more than a doubling), and both C and R lost over a third of their popularity in a month’s time. Fortran is the real winner, almost tripling in popularity in a month. At that rate, it will be top of the list in December ;-)
