Curious - why aren’t simpler frameworks like htmx (https://htmx.org/ https://htmx.org/) more common or gaining traction? It feels unnecessarily complex to have to use so many modules to build a website today. Especially if it doesn’t need dynamic content.

This video actually does a pretty good job of explaining the state of web today. He goes into why frameworks that stream html as updates are insufficient.
