I hate with a passion the ugliness of the politicians talking about flu deaths like they are acceptable. Also annoyingly I haven’t seen one interview or press conference where someone in the press has called them out for not doing enough for people dying of the flu. Modern medicine is remarkable and if well funded and incentivised, can create marvels. Forget about funding sports or political parties etc, they are cursory. Fund science it is enteral and truly can be always a net greater good.
