- yourapostasy 5y agoI wonder if there is sufficient correlation to investigate for causation from the total number of US infected of around 43M [1] and COVID-19 sequalae prevalence of around 80% [2], of which easily half comprise one or more of: fatigue (58%), headache (44%), attention disorder (27%), and dyspnea (24%). All of which are functionally adverse effects upon work. Let's be generous and say 90% of the 43M infected come out 100% healthy. That's still 4.3M. I tend to give Nature articles the benefit of the doubt. 90% of 4.3M is still 3,870,000 able-bodied people taken out of the US workforce. That's enough to affect the margins.
