This sounds like propaganda from the private prison industry. Until you allow doctors to maintain addicts you're going to have people dying from street drugs. But a city can only do the best it can SF doesn't control federal drug policy.
- proc0 5y ago"federal drug policy"? What are you talking about? These are local policies. Have you lived or are living in SF? It's a dystopia in some areas where this happens. Needles everywhere, people tweaking out, using the streets as their bathroom, and very dangerous to walk for a city that was supposed to be walkable. > Until you allow doctors to maintain addicts You would have to define "maintain". They won't just stay with the doctors. They want to be partying and doing more drugs, and will fight you if you get in the way.
