Noticed they sign you out if using Spotify in a country other than the one you signed up with. Got auto signed out because I tunneled to London with my VPN and launched the app. I worked around that by doing split tunneling, and excluded Spotify from using the VPN connection.

- abhinav210 5y agoThey do it for non-premium accounts. Premium members can use it outside their country.
- nhinck 5y agoYeah they do, I got signed out while on holiday in the US because I spent more than 3 weeks out of my home country. Premium by the way.

- freebuju 5y agoYou won't be able to sign in until you change the IP address to match the account's origin country. And this annoying dance is to be expected at least every couple of weeks.
