There's a whole list of "Daily Mail and worse" at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Deprecated_sources https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Deprecated_sources
- rbanffy 5y agoThis deprecated sources list is an excellent resource. I couldn’t find a similar one on the Portuguese language site. Are there such lists for non English sources?
- yorwba 5y agoEvery language edition of Wikipedia has their own rules and processes. The Portuguese version appears to have a place to discuss the sources for specific articles, but no blanket list of deprecated sources: https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikip%C3%A9dia:Fontes_confi%C3%A1veis/Central_de_confiabilidade https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikip%C3%A9dia:Fontes_confi%C3...
- mandmandam 5y agoIt's incredible how scant the reasoning given for blacklisting MPN on your link is. It's all "cesspool" this and "conspiracy non main-stream" that, with fuck-all actual evidence.
- davidgerard 5y agoexpand the "extended discussion" sections for lengthy detailed cites
- mandmandam 5y agoI don't see an 'extended discussion' section for MPN... There's one for "LifeSiteNews" below it though; are you sure that's not what you're referring to?
