If they trust science enough to get a transplant they can trust science enough to get vaccinated.

If they trust science enough to get a transplant they can trust science enough to get vaccinated.
- tinus_hn 5y ago‘If they want a transplant, they better voluntary make the decision I want them to take! And if they don’t, well that’s more input to my ‘Laugh at people who died because they didn’t take the vaccine’ Facebook group!’ ‘Look at me, feeling holy saving lives through science! I know better than you!’
- nikau 5y agoThey aren't being bumped from the list out of spite, its for statistically better outcomes. Medical science trumps stupid beliefs whether you are Steve Jobs or some idiot feeding off facebook.
- tinus_hn 5y agoScience is not ‘we decide based on who trusts science’.
- nikau 5y agoNo, its knowing about statistics and chances of catching something and dying because you are on immune system supressing drugs. As per the article "Organ recipients are already generally required to be vaccinated against hepatitis A, hepatitis B, influenza, and tetanus" If they are too fucking stupid to take a simple injection to save their life then so be it. There is no rationale for them not to take it.
- tinus_hn 5y agoThat’s science. This is not: > If they trust science enough to get a transplant they can trust science enough to get vaccinated Also, it doesn’t make you seem smarter if you call people who disagree with your position ‘fucking stupid’.
- nikau 5y agoI'm not saying that to sound smarter, I'm stating a fact - in their scenario the chance of them dying is millions of times greater if they refuse the vaccine.
- tinus_hn 5y ago> If they are too fucking stupid to take a simple injection > I'm stating a fact No, you’re not. You’re just insulting people.
