- ksaj 5y agoThis will be an interesting experiment. Since we are talking about dealing with objects coming directly for Earth, if this manages to change the orbit enough that the trajectory changes, it would clearly be the fastest response mechanism we could probably hope for. I wish this article was around when I was in high school. We were subjected to a lot of grief for using phase if we meant faze. But it seems even science writers make that mistake.
