Is it a given that no currency can succeed unless it is blessed as "legal tender" in a given country? Honest question.
- JanisL 5y agoCurrencies exist to fill a need. Legal tender fills the need to be able to pay taxation obligations. Other currencies can exist for other needs, see scrip for an example of this.
