Ask HN: Longest you've waited for a job offer?
I'm at 4 months, feels like it's been an eternity. Already denied an offer along the way while I hold out. Yes, the position is worth it but the waiting has been killing me.

- gregjor 5y agoNever waited for four months. Maybe two weeks at the most. Any longer than 2-3 weeks I’d either move on or try to find out if there’s some snag or if they aren’t going to make an offer.

- rl1987 5y agoSilence means lack of interest. If they wanted to hire you, it would be in their best interest to make an offer quickly.
