Can anyone who works at Facebook speak anonymously about what's going on over there? They seem like they're in full authoritarian meltdown mode...
- bridgestanding 5y agoTypically these are done because the author was caught scraping data from users of their extension, or this was a significant risk that they would be able to. Then the developer goes to news to create outrage to get their extension re-approved. Basically to prevent Cambridge Analytica from happening again.
