This looks very promising, thanks! I sent them an email. I've never worked with anything higher voltage than 240V before, so having people with experience to whom I can ask questions will be very helpful. If it was 5v pulses, I could just PWM a mosfet, but up that voltage 5000x and all I would have is a lot of smoke.
