One way out of this is if the special item somehow becomes worthless over time. A food item that spoils, clothing that goes so hopelessly out of style that you can never wear it, gadgets that are no longer compatible with anything.
Another is if you can convince yourself that it'll be just as special to some other person, then pass it on to them. But in that case, don't ask about it later, in case you were wrong.
- iJohnDoe 5y agoThis is the solution. It’s important for people to realize this. Once people realize that those special items are going to waste, then hopefully a positive change can happen, and those items can be used instead of collecting dust and going to waste.
