What Is the Role of AI and ML in the Music Industry?
- GDC7 5y agoIt's the poor ghostwriters who will feel the pain, music is meant to be performed live and AI/ML won't be able to do that.

- andrew_gold 5y agoProbably a similar analogy to the way a lot of AI/ML will impact labor in other sectors. You can easily see how existing natural language processing tools are great companions for copywriters right now, for example, but might readily replace junior copywriter roles at companies entirely in the not-too-distant future. But the long-form journalist, like the live musician, probably doesn't have as much to worry about, in that regard.
