- Kranar 5y agoThe literal first sentence is as follows: >One year ago, I quit my day job to work on Zig full time. So is it the case he only makes $1500 a month? I mean it's none of my business what he makes but he did bring it up and I am curious to know how much a prominent individual like him earns for working on his own open source passion project. I find it commendable that someone would work on their own project for such a low salary owing to a belief and desire to get their product out there. That said if he makes $15000 a month that's cool too and great for him, but it's not clear to me what the truth here is.
