One nice aspect of the de facto surveillance state is that there's lots of free evidence against mobsters.
- edgyquant 5y agoEspecially when, according to the article, they make threats over texts and social media.
- i_like_apis 5y agoAnd even the state-sponsored mobsters (i.e. police & military) get caught up in social media reports of brutality. Although on this point they have to deal with a lot of false reports as well, with a video camera getting whipped out by bystanders on every routine arrest.
