Is there any reason to use openoffice instead of libreoffice these days?
- timbit42 5y agoI don't think there has been any reason since LibreOffice forked. One major reason now is that while both can read the new MSO formats, although I don't know which has better support, only LibreOffice can save in them.
- davidgerard 5y agoLO's support is vastly better and actively worked on. AOO hasn't significantly improved its filters since OOo 3.4 beta in 2011.
