When I was younger I worked at a trucking company. This included both long-haul (gone for 1 week or more) and short-haul (gone for 12-14hrs).
A common thing I heard in the break-room was "If I worked a normal job I would be divorced by now".
- kamaal 5y agoLiving with other people, even with one's spouse or children really doesn't mean they want to seeing each other every minute of their lives. There needs to be an healthy amount of time that is both enjoyable, which is not too much to be invasive of one's privacy nor too less to make the other person feel lonely.
