Show HN: Microdesktop, a visual history of Macintosh UI (51x34, 1-bit pixel art)
- juliendorra 5y agoHi! I'm creating the microdesktop collection as a visual history of the Macintosh user interface, using 51x34px, 1-bit pixel art drawings. They showcase key parts of Macintosh interface design choices, in just 1734 pixels (10 times smaller than the original Macintosh screen resolution , as it was 512x342 pixels) Each microdesktop comes with historical notes and sources (Check the hicetnunc pages) You can check this twitter thread for updates: https://twitter.com/juliendorra/status/1441005487986708482 https://twitter.com/juliendorra/status/1441005487986708482 And read more about the last microdesktop ('microdesktop: hello') historical background here: https://twitter.com/juliendorra/status/1445776391278981140 https://twitter.com/juliendorra/status/1445776391278981140
