MacMillian could very well win a second nobel prize for photoredox chemistry somewhere down the line too.
- eganp 5y agoSomewhat surprised asymmetric organocatalysis was awarded over asymmetric photocatalysis or photoredox chemistry. Photocatalysis is newer, has more demonstrated use cases, and holds more promise.
