It has all the popular liberal tropes and drops all the right buzzwords. This was obviously written by someone that has gotten far too used to preaching to the choir. Anyone on the fence would be driven away by this kind of language, and anyone antagonistic would use it to discredit the entire article. Perhaps the author has a point, but he won't change anyone's mind like this.
