Yep. That's exactly the point I think.
It seems that all that and other arbitrarities lead to a big chain of unhapiness and its derivatives (anxiety (panic attacks, depression, burnout)), uncontrolled consumption, unemployment, etc.
- iammisc 5y agoAnxiety and depression is caused by children being allowed to relax and consume too much rather than engaging in productive, achievement based labor.

- iammisc 5y agoChildren today rarely see the results of their labor. School grades are so inflated there is little correlation with the quality of work and the mark. This causes anxiety because children rarely feel competent and frankly many are not.
