I actually ended up creating a new Facebook account, with fake name/details and no friends. Most of the local information for the village I live in, and the surrounding ones is posted and discussed on Facebook. So, if we want to join in on the Halloween trail, need to know about it on there. Christmas window displays? Yep, on Facebook. It's kinda annoying, and I figure they probably know who I am - but at least I'm not directly giving them info :/
