UN Report Warns of Global Water Crisis Amid Climate Change
- aaron695 5y ago> UN report warns of global water crisis amid climate change We should all thank God (or deity of your choice) that the worlds increasing population or the 100's of millions moving to cities or the massive new middle class eating meat and other diverse foods with intensive farming along with the 100 years of using aquifers have not caused the Global Water Crisis. It's Climate Change. If we all pray together, washing away our sins, it will destroy the evil, along with donations to the cause of course. We will never get to see the fruits of their actions in the 100 years time against this devil, but hopefully money and prayer will solve this crisis. I think Managed Aquifer Recharge is really interesting https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aquifer_storage_and_recovery https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aquifer_storage_and_recovery (It's not a great wiki article) It can be done at the community level, like in many subsistence farming communities (ie. in India and Africa) and more larger project which can be direct pumping or creating MAR dams or wet lands. Dual purpose community orientated projects.
