It's a remarkably poorly insulated 5 bedroom home with a purely global temperature control (i.e. she can't just cool / heat her bedroom). I gave her a bunch of money to do renovations so hopefully that goes down significantly.
- rsj_hn 5y agoThat makes sense. You can find old homes in SF with the natural gas heaters and it's easy to get a big gas bill if you leave those on with the terrible windows that don't close properly (the windows on those old victorians are awful).
