You might wanna consider avoiding all VTE based terminals (includes GNOME termina) on Linux because VTE development is spearheaded by GNOME developers. They're almost always guided by their "every preference has a cost" philosophy so don't expect any decent changes happening to VTE.

- speeddemon 5y agoThat explanation isn't convincing to me, it's getting more into emotional territory (they are hostile because they didn't accept our patch) and away from technical territory (here are reasons why our patch wasn't accepted). I think VTE is fine if you don't mind development happening at a glacial pace...
