I'm pushing 50 and its definitely harder to even get interviews compared to 30. As much as I dont like ageism, I get it because lots of the stuff I did 20-30 years ago is irrelevant. Coding now is completely different and I have to learn so much to keep up with industry trends I realistically have 5-10 years experience. Of course on the client relationship and project management side I have a lot of tricks that I think are valuable.
