Further investigation in to hesitancy among those with a PhD is warranted. Given the "novel sampling method" and lack of other studies with similar results, you have to take those results with the grain of salt. It's an interesting finding worth studying further, but you can't really know if they were able to get a representative sample of PhDs, so it's premature to make a definitive claim that they are less likely to vaccinated.
