Ask HN: Why is HN's website so slow today?
- xupybd 5y agoI'm noticing the same thing. I thought it was my ISP as Facebook was down earlier as well.
- decrypt 5y agoI was just about to ask. I keep seeing this issue "We're having some trouble serving your request. Sorry!" A few refreshes later the page loads.

- AnIdiotOnTheNet 5y agoGiven the 3 or 4 posts about Facebook being down, I'm going to guess it is related. Either an unexpected increase in traffic or something related to the routing issue with FB.
- PaulHoule 5y agoI think you zombies are reloading HN obsessively since there is nothing else to do now that Facebook is down.
- peakaboo 5y agoSuch a sad statement. I really hope that is not true. I now imagine young humans sitting in front of their computer screens because they don't have a real life to take care of.
