- stonecharioteer 5y agoNot OP. They _can_ but good luck trying to convince parents of that. They're not tech savvy enough to install apps themselves. They have simple questions about why Whatsapp cannot be installed in a basic Nokia phone for instance. It's not easy to convince them to use Signal or Telegram or anything else.
