I'm going to try to take this comment seriously, difficult as it may be. How does Blockchain solve data interoperability in this case? Does the Bitcoin protocol have special support for cannabis crop lot numbers I missed? (I said try...)
- Spivak 5y agoIf you need a distributed database of any kind which can be modeled as an append-only log (i.e. stuff you might use Kafka for) then a private blockchain might not be a terrible idea. The sticking point is resolving conflicts because "longest chain" is probably not what you want.
