Corporate types love .NET because it provides a comfortable buffer of bureaucractic bullshit that makes them look busy without actually producing anything. The whole Microsoft infrastructure just keeps people busy upgrading, fixing, reinstalling, documenting, and arranging project scehdules. It's just pure Dilbertware.
