For better or worse, in this country you don't get to confiscate assets, dissolve corporations or put people in jail just because you don't like them.

This is the country where people have been summarily executed for driving while black. I'm sure the DOJ can build a criminal case against Facebook under the RICO statutes or some anti-terrorism statute that will let them put criminal forfeiture on the table. Besides, Facebook is incorporated in Delaware. The General Assembly has authority under the Delaware state constitution to ensure that corporations that engage in malfeasance can forcibly shut down.
