I am fairly new to JS and have read a number of articles on how 'this' works over the last few months after getting suitably confused by the (apparent) 'inconsistent' behaviour. I think this is the best presentation of the concepts I've seen since it builds everything up from the simplest primitives ... either that or I just hit the critical number of repetitions to actually understand it!
