Is the title of this a little misleading? The implication appears to be that politicians saying "we need to tax the rich" are hypocritical. However, the Senator in question is noteworthy because they are standing in the way of taxing the rich. So the fact that they are rich enough to own a yacht wouldn't be contradictory.

Yes. It's at the stage where people are just told how to feel and they do Plot twist it's a house boat worth $220,000 (from a bankrupt sale). Arguably a working man's house.
